I strongly believe that health is immensely more than our food choices - rather it is rooted in our relationships, how well we sleep, how movement is incorporated throughout our days, how much we laugh and love, what we eat and how we enjoy meals, and so much more.

Over the years, as I have focused so much on how to feed our families well, I realized that equally important as food is what we are using in our homes and on our bodies.  Some sources say that we are exposed to more hormone disrupting chemicals in just 1 month than our grandparents were in their entire lifetime. How's that for a contributing factor in skyrocketing rates of early puberty?!  And while the research is not solid as to why, we can all agree this is not a positive change.  What's more, there are virtually NO restrictions on the beauty industry as it is today.  Did you know that the US has not passed a federal law since 1938 regulating the cosmetic industry and has NO power to approve or recall products?!  I certainly was not aware of that lack of regulation with things that I am using multiple times a day on myself and my children.

For these reasons, I am excited to announce that I now offer Beauty Counter products (including skin care, make up, sun protection, anti aging, and kids and baby products) as part of my health support.  Beauty Counter is an education-first company devoted to getting safer products into our hands, and is doing some incredible work to change and create policies related to the beauty industry itself.

What's more, Beauty Counter products are not only safe, they are exceptionally high performing and beautiful.  There is enough about our culture that encourages body shaming and dieting, so I am all for products that make a woman feel and be beautiful inside and out.
